Aye, it appears to suggest they felt he/we would not make anything of it, so they stood off.Great finish and goal of the season contender, if I'm a City fan though I wouldn't have been happy with the defending, they just stood off him.

I wholeheartedly agree. Still, I have a feeling that he's actually one of our most potent players, even with his inconsistency and sometimes frustrating performances. If only he could add consistency to his game he would be a player.
Fair oneI think a horses for courses approach might serve us best. Our best performance this season (Palace) was with a 4-3-3.

The French commentary was far betterPoor lad, scores an absolute worldy, gets home eager to watch a replay only to find it's got the most underwhelming commentary you've ever heard over it.
Have a look at the French one I put in the match thread!!!Poor lad, scores an absolute worldy, gets home eager to watch a replay only to find it's got the most underwhelming commentary you've ever heard over it.
I think that little slip over caught a few people out. A few of their defenders freeze for a brief second when he does it and it looks like it gives him that extra split second to pick his spot.Aye, it appears to suggest they felt he/we would not make anything of it, so they stood off.
