He might have played a lot better if the Palace players weren't allowed to man handle/volley him every time he got the ball.

Good for the second goal though - or at least made the right decision when it needed making, which you can't always say.

He's just so flat footed, never expecting the ball. Him and Gordon need to step up massively because it's them two who let us down attacking wise time after time.

For me he's a bench player. He should be used as an impact player.

He's not good enough if we aspire to be more than a bottom 5 side..

I think the same can be said for Gordon too, just Gordon has age on his side.

He’s a squad player that should be a sub starting every week. In January we need to get some better attacking options.

Might just justify a squad place, but definitely not a first team place. He is just not PL standard.

He is 26 though, I just don't see where he is going to step up anymore tbh. We like to look at ourselves as being reasonably similar to Leicester as a club and yet they got rid of him for not being good enough so why is he good enough for us? As for Gordon there is a player in there but I don't think it's this wonderkid some of our fanbase seem to think.
