Without looking at stats I feel like our most used sub last season was Iwobi and second was Bernard.
Neither can hit a ball or cross like Townsend who also works hard and neither have pace like Gray. This is underwhelming but an improvement.

On the flip side why didn't you let us know a week ago and tell us that they were not shrewd signings

Moving forward I think you need to go through every released player in all divisions and let us know whether or not the signing of them would be shrewd?
