His pace will cause different problems for teams and irrespective of his personal effectiveness, should help us progress up field. Something we were frustratingly awful at last season.

I mean £1.5m on a 25-year-old who does genuinely lack what we need in terms of raw attributes is by no means an awful deal though.

That's with the proviso that we go and get some genuine quality in - but to do that, we're going to need to sell players.
