Delighted with the progress

Brands will sort us, but said if we wanted a quick fix to look elsewhere. It will take years of maticulous planning.

Not this season, might not be the next, but we have already made progress.

Young side, exciting management set up, Liver building headquaters and a dock stadium in the pipeline.

There will be flash in the pan wins and frustrating defeats but ultimately we need a consistent and balanced side. Something not seen since 08/09 and back then we where financially hamstrung.

Everything (in all aspects) around the club seems to be coming together. Slowly but surely I think we have the right pieces in place to build our club up to where it truely belongs. I'll take what we have short term, but the long term future is bright.

We've had a kind fixture list so far, and we still aren't creating enough from open play for me.
Balance between midfield and attack not quite there yet.
But I'm more positive we are moving in the right direction for at least 5 years.

we've had 17+ shots 3 games in a row, we only managed 17+ shots 3 times in the whole of last season

I wouldn't say that's an issue

Something positive...I have to say that I’m delighted with our progress this season.

We seem more positive, on and off pitch, and considering how quickly that has happened after two horrendous years, and plenty of awful years before that, it’s pretty remarkable.

Yes, you can unpick the inner workings of the club - there’s lot to improve but I’m willing to let the billionaire learn from and resolve those - but this genuinely feels better and were it not for a few dropped points - against teams that are better than I gave them credit for - we’d be sitting very nicely just now.

Long may it continue Everton.

It will continue to be rough until January or so, but the blueprint we’ve seen gives big dreams, and these are good.

Up the Toffees

It’s amazing what 3 wins will do for morale, after the West Ham and Arsenal games it was doom and gloom, now it’s all rosey. I try to give the side 10 league games before forming an opinion on how we are doing and at least 18 games before I decide if the manager is getting it right and if we are going to have a good season or not. The way people are now, too quick to sack managers or to praise them, I think it’s all fuelled by the media, who go over the top on all their reporting.

Personally I would like to see us in the Europa places this season but it’s really difficult given the strength of the league and I am still a bit disappointed that we are out of the league cup, I want to see us win something again

I'm looking forward to these next four away games, as I believe we will, at least, be competitive. We'll have the odd sticky game up to christmas, but the signs are there that we have a group of players, and a manager who are supporting each other. January onwards could be impressive.

I thought we were terrific in the Arsenal match, we just couldn't put away our chances. West Ham was awful.
10 games is my benchmark too but, that aside, it's SO much better than the last couple of years....already.

We are much better than last season but we are still a long way off the consistent chance creation that the top 6 clubs have.

We create a lot through crosses, set pieces and shots from distance. To make the next step we need to also create in open play. Tbf I am sure Marco knows this!

We were about 3 minutes away from after-loss threads...
There is a clear identity to this team and we are much improved. Players seem happier, too, which is only a good thing.
The real test is about to come. If we can keep this momentum going we could be a surprise package. That's a big "if" though.

We were losing?
