He didn't like. Iwobi was our best player there, but people saw Dele coming on and thought that was the big change when it was about putting three in midfield including Iwobi. Alli was good too but carried is a massive overstatement.

Anyway he's a striker, he's not quick enough to play wide, he's not going to do enough in midfield to be a #8 or even a #10. You stick him up and hope he can hold play up and score some goals.

He’s not a number 9, or a winger.

In the sense that richarlison wasn’t a number 9, or a winger.

But both of them are most effective when playing close to goal.
