I'm actually chuffed with this. Think he was good in spells for mourinho but mourinho being mourinho that relationship went to pot pretty quickly. This lad for me has got the most natural talent in our squad, lampard will use him correctly and be a better man manger for him than mourinho or conte. How exactly do you use Alli correctly though. That has always been the problem. He isn't industrious enough to play as a conventional midfield player but doesn't score or create enough to play as a forward.

His weaknesses will have to be negated by other players. Whether we have enough quality in the side to do that I’m not sure.

He’s a luxury player of the type we cannot afford.
