I wonder if Tony Bellew would volunteer his time to do some sessions with the squad?

Many games (at every level) are won & lost before a ball is kicked. When you look across at your opposition & either feel intimidated or intimidating.

I feel we are the biggest pussies in the league. Need a lot more aggression & belief.

Premiership players....

Our defending at set pieces is shambolic, you can see better defending on a Sunday morning at the local park...

Pickford has to take more responsibility & command his six yard box...

Ditch zonal & Go back to man to man marking...

Do homework on away team, best headers in our team mark the danger men in the opposition....

Thoughts on how Silva is setting Everton up to defend set pieces?

Personally, every time we concede a set piece I think we look terrified.

Also thrown a poll in to see what fans would prefer.
I agree all the way, but 2 simplistic choices there, think its a tad more complicated than either or...but not that complicated. I mean most footballers...and we're not talking mastermind candidates here...have managed to grasp the basics over the years.
But if the Boss says this is what we do...well this is what we do, my way or the highway etc
Until
His boss (Brands?) says - 'No, This is what we do...and there's the highway outside Mr Silva'

Don’t most good sides use zonal marking these days?

I think the issue is less the zonal marking and more the coaching of it and the players failing to show any responsibility or aggression.

Which begs the question...

What has been going on in regards of coaching...?

I think he's class personally. Can't do it all himself. Probably got tired off trying to drag us into games only for our attackers to be dire!
Think he is good when the going is good. When a game requires a bit of muscle and sweat he raises the white flag. No time for him and the majority of his gutless colleagues.
