Oh don't get my started on this. 'Measure twice, cut once' they say. I can measure 50 times and I'll still never cut it to the right size.

Put me off painting and decorating for life.

I find decorating quite therapeutic and rewarding tbh. I like the going into a room that looks like sh1t and then standing back and admiring the finished result a day or two later.

Yeah, freak, I know.

Hate painting gloss when I was younger I could do every other chore loved hanging pattenend Wallpaper-late father in law taught me when I got married 39 years ago - my wife was a great helper too!

My first flat many moons ago has left me traumatised. Spent a week doing the living room alone and the first visitor pointed out that the wallpaper was upside down, never tried it since.

Easy done that lol

Why is everything always an inch out?

As you get older going for a P you wonder why you are an inch outlol
The answer is the buildings or room you are decorating are never spot on - so if wall papering put your largest fall on first by creasing the top guess the length with a few inches at the bottom crease to cut use a plum line with a right angle sprit level to get your first piece striaght it's easy!
You don't need a tape measure!
