The Guardian referred to him as ex-RS striker.
I can't say here. There's an injunction. What did the bed do?!
Sounds like he tried every trick in the book.I`d be surprised if he does appeal, as he would be playing a very dangerous game.
The judge was scathing of him in his summing up and if he took it to appeal and lost, he`d be slammed with more time for bringing a " vexatious appeal " before teh court.
Provide a false alibi? What did the bed do?!

Claimed that he didn’t know that he wasn’t entitled to have a solicitor present for his breath test, the medication rubbish amongst others.
The judge has rightly made an example of him as a deterrent to others. I’m quite happy with that idea personally.
Carragher did something genuinely deplorable and it’s been completely forgotten about. It’ll be interesting to see if he still has a career in the media when he gets out.
It doesn’t sound like he’s remorseful.
Low life.
I believe the police had the body cameras on and that was pretty damming about his character.Sounds like he tried every trick in the book.

Plead guilty. They did, which the judge alluded to.
His brief will have told him to plead guilty and then thrown loads of mitigation in to avoid a custodial.
No decent brief would advise a not guilty plea on all of the evidence.
Saunders obviously thought he knew better lol
Plead guilty.
Take the fine and the ban.
Say you are struggling with life after football and are drinking too much.
