Nowhere near the same. At times under Moyes we went multiple windows without paying a transfer fee for a player. Silva spent over £100m in the summer, Allardyce almost half that last January, and Koeman spent over £200m in his time here.

Even without spending anything this January, we are still averaging about £60m per window since Moshiri arrived, and despite this, we haven't improved. The whole squad needs gutting, and that means selling, or releasing 1st.

We just simply can't continue to add to this already bloated, disjointed, unbalanced squad.
