If three completely different managers don’t think he’s good enough, he probably isn’t good enough.

Also makes u wonder why Koeman got him in the first place -or was it Walsh??!

Subjective. If you think he's come into the side and made tempo and had us playing well this season then I'm sorry to say I've seen none of it.

This whole Klaassen bandwagon from 8 minutes of a nothing performance tonight is hilarious. The lad underlined how anonymous he is.

It's not subjective mate, it's objective that when he has been involved we have a decent overall record. It's subjective of me to say I think he is ok.

I think a lot of the bandwagon is basically an anti-Sam bandwagon, and there's little doubt that have a lad who's not a giant, or a clogger who's been scapegoated publicly by an unpopular manager has undoubtedly led to people being more favourable to him. I also agree with you when you have said he's a little one paced and probably just too "Dutch" for this league. I'll be honest I'm not convinced he has a future with us (where I can make a case for lads like Bolasie, Davies, Calvert Lewin and others who get criticised).

However in spite of this I still think he is not bad. Not worth the money we spent and maybe not good enough for where we want to be, but far from not good enough to not have a look in when I've seen other performances. Again on Saturday he was ok and I think he could play the role Davies/Gana have been playing.

Maybe another manager sees a role for him, but I have no idea what that would be. Who in this league do you think he resembles that holds down a place in a top half of the table team?

He was meant to be a goalscoring midfielder who plays one twos, who in our current side could help him achieve this? Maybe Siggy but they stray into each others space. I think alongside Gueye and a box to box player able to retain possession he might look better. But it's perfectly possible he'll never be up to standard too

Not sure about Klaassen to be honest. In order for him to play in his favourite number 10, he must be better than siggy, he’s not.

For him to be effective as a box to box midfielder, he lacks the pressing and intensity of Davies.

To play him in a defensive midfielder, he lacks defensive ability and tackling. Gana is much better.

So I’m not really sure if he fits our team.
If he improves his intensity, closing down, pressing and bursting forward with the ball, there’s no way Davies or Schneiderlin should be pick ahead of him.

We cannot carry too many passive midfielder and expect Gana to do all the dirty work alone. Klaassen was bought without much research.

I am surprised to read this, as closing down was vital to our successful team last year and Klaassen played a big role in it. Especially in Amsterdam we were able to completely overwhelm big European teams because they had no answer to the consistent and intense pressing.

He played next to Ziyech which worked quite well because Ziyech always wants to have the ball and Klaassen just doesn't. For that reason, I don't see a playmaker in him, he works hard and recovers balls, gives them to more creative players and rushes to the box to wait for scoring opportunities. That's basically it.
