It's a disgrace that neither Klaassen nor Baningime are playing ahead of Rooney. Not because they're both amazing, but because Rooney simply so bad and is clearly only playing because of who he is and not what he offers.

it seems Schneiderlin is flavour of the month again with Allardyce, so the question is who is the third midfielder if we also assume Gueye starts, which he ought to, against Swansea? Davies, Rooney or Baningime? Surely Rooney, after his latest performances and attitude, must be bottom of that list.

Seeing as both Davies and Rooney have been worse than woeful this season, I'd say give Baningime a go.

Gana looked better pressing forward as he did v Liverpool. Too often he’s deployed in holding mid or in a deep two. Another player we’re not getting the best out of.

Besic holding with Gueye ahead of him and a top creative mid as the third might be a good combo.
When has Basic ever shown that he's good enough? I must have missed it.

We paid over 20 million pounds for Klaasen!!! Get him in the team!!

And we paid £60k for Coleman, what is your point? Transfer value is not always an indicator as to whether you should start a match.

He has been treated absolutely disgusting by Everton football club.

Absolute nonsense. We pay him huge amounts of money, we don't owe him game time. If he isn't good enough, he doesn't play - its a meritocracy, not a charity.

How can he be worse than a midfield of Rooney etc etc?.......

Whenever he has played, he has been far worse.

Numbers game fails to add up for Sam Allardyce and Everton

What I don't get is if he never gets a run of games we are never going to know if he's up to it. And we will lose alot on him, seems a pointless waste freezing him out when we have nothing to play for.

Klaassen has 5 games to save his Everton career!

With Sigurdsson out, Rooney and Davies out of form, he HAS to step up now

Can see Klassen being a huge warning sign for anyone considering moving here from abroad, least play him the remaining games, let's see if he has anything we can build on next season or if he's just gonna be a 25m Kroldrup

I don't think you can question WAynes attitude. Glad he go angry at being subbed....he still has the passion,at least.

How's he going to do that from the stand? Big Scam has made it a sticking point now that he's not going to play him to show the Everton fans how big and hard he is.

have to agree, why we never invested time in

gana
klaassen sigurdson
as a midfield three from the begining is beyond me. instead persisted with schnieds, rooney and an isolated forward up top. loaned out lookman and sandro. expected a teenager in davies and even dcl to go out and perform for us week in week out...all while the while we've had the 24 year old captain of ajax sitting in the training paddock all season?!
