Once everything settles down and he finds his "niche" in the side he will fly.
Tonight was the sort of game he is not suited to. He comes into his own in games when we dominate possession. It hasn't clicked yet because he's getting used to the league and our players are getting used to him. But already you can see that he does things that affect the game. His clever running and passing will be brilliant for us when other players are on the same wavelength. Think he'll be a star for us.

This guy looked [Poor language removed] awful tonight. Took him 25 mins to win a [Poor language removed] tackle when he back tracked in the 85th minute after standing around flat footed left and right and on the goal. Then right after the goal he either passed someone on to someone who wasn't their or just decided staying goal side of an attacker wasn't worth it.

This 2nd half was an absolute embarrassment, up a man for almost all of it yet city had 65% of possession and connected on 200 more passes in just the second half. I understand they run a different, I'd say an actual correct way of playing football but that was embarrassing. If you're going to play that way why is Klaassen coming in for Williams? He appeared to be favoring something as he jogged off but that was not a good substitution.

Sorry for the rant, I just finished the game after recording it and I'm disappointed. I wouldn't have been before the game taking a point, but the game was ugly enough for the less technical team to steal 3

Hasn't been involved in any games I have seen so far. Has less touches than any other player on the pitch, I just don't understand why the game passes him by so much.
I really hope once he and our team/formation settles a bit he can show us why he was highly rated.

Not gonna write him off, new country and style and our formation and team are different every single game so it's no wonder he's a bit lost.
Plus he has already said he struggles with the accent lol

There was a reason he didn't start for this game and I think his hand was forced to sub him on.

How so was Koeman's hand forced to sub him on? Koeman had the lead and a man advantage and a back is the one who has to come out?

Koeman was absolutely out coached tonight, granted I like Pep though. I think he out coaches 8/10 managers no problem

He's going to be good, but it might be an idea to "rest" him for the next few league matches, he's not fast or strong enough to cope with top level premiership midfielders at the moment, especially when we don't have much of the ball. Give him time to settle in Europe and when the fixture list gets a bit softer, he'll be fine.

Good interception to salvage a point in a game we should have had three from, but he's nowhere near the class we need.

Looking a waste of big cash at this stage.

30 mil pounds...

For that we want points, how many has he made us this season? Saved us one last night and had a hand in the build up for the Stoke goal.

Rooney, DCL, Pickford and Klassen we can say for certain have made/saved us points so far this season, cant say that about everyone but we can for sure about those 4 and maybe one or two others
