It's all gone wrong for most of the new players from other leagues, we needed to integrate then into a team playing and doing ok, that didn't happen we have also thrown a lot of Youngsters in the team, but they have performed much better than the oversea players. So loans to a premier league teams for Sandro and Klassen could be the answer.

I would guess that Sam has put the arm around Klaasen and Sandro and told them they will get their chance that he believes in them , that they must keep working and fighting and be ready when the chance comes. Motivation was never a problem for Sam, we will have to wait a while to see his stamp on the team but I would bet the exercises and games in training are more competitive than they have been for a while.

Still in the balance with this lad I reckon. If Allardyce recognises that he makes intelligent runs from midfield, he could still be an asset. Needs to really get up to the speed of the league though as he's always going to look out-of-place if he doesn't, too slow and weak

Unless the Ian Wilson lookalike is actually him reincarnate the lad must have something. He'd have been used to playing in an Ajax side that was well structured and knew each others games -- the exact opposite to what he found at Everton. I too think he'll come good.

I hope so too but not a chance, we've hardly had an update on his 'injury' progress, which to me says a lot. He's holding out for the January transfer window, where he will suddenly be fit and he'll end up going to Spurs for next to nothing.

I wouldn't sell him then. We don't have to and if the fee is going to be so minimal I'd keep him.

If England means so much to him he'll want to be going to the world cup, which means doing the biz for us in the second half of the season.

Great news that Big Sam is going to give Davy and Sandro some confidence and some minutes.
It's about effing time these two had a proper manager.

Very well indeed. We have more than enough players who need gametime to prove themselves to our new manager. Especially this EL game is a nothing game as we are out of the competition.

Schneiderlin, Keane, Sandro, Mirallas, Klaassen, Besic, Vlasic and Lookman etc should start. Time to prove yourselves.
