No chance. Sam will push Rooney forward and put Schneiderlin/Gueye in the middle. He’s not shown anything near enough to start and Sam won’t chance him.

Not sure about him dropping Schneiderfraud back in, as he`ll want to try to curry favour with the fans for the rest of the season, now that we`re all but safe.

He’s not a 10 though. He’s a Lampard type box to box.
If you are right then he should be playing now.

When I watched him for Ajaz ( admitedly only about 3 times on TV ) he looked the furthest advanced of the midfielders and did very little tracking back

Well, I think the Siggy injury means both a golden opportunity for Klaassen and BFS. Klaassen is now the best fit in that role if we are going to play a lineup like last weeks and one of only two players(Vlasic) we can play there without putting a more defensive team on the field. And BFS has an excuse to play him now with the injury, though I suspect for more defensive games he will just drop Gana back in and push Davies or Rooney up.

As for position, I do agree in that I think hes actually a box-to-box. He played some no.10 last year, but prior to that, and for much of his success he actually played as a box-to-box.

I think there is much more chance that Davies and Schneiderlin are the ones who play more often because of this rather than Davy

It may be just trying to get him in the shop window for a summer sale.

Either way I am glad he has been brought back into the fold and I hope he does well.

He is a true hero, a rags to riches story. A player who only cost us a paltry sum of mid twenty million struggles to get by in life on his rumoured 100k per week.

He has also fought an illness of being scared in possension but he has rose above all of this to win us over by making a sub appearance against the 10 men of mighty Brighton.

If Gary Oldman has any decency he would give Davy that Oscar he won last week.

Not heard Klassen bemoan his lot at all....not heard anything of his struggles. Quite the opposite in fact...consummate professional. Facts not fiction are what’s required.

I think a consummate professional would be demanding to play in the u23s to help adapt See Oumar.

I think, nay, I know you’ll find zero evidence to suggest that he did otherwise.
The team sheets for all bar the game last week says otherwise. OK no ultimate proof but you're not seriously suggesting that if he wanted to play in the u23s to improve his fitness his request would be denied are you?

So, you believe Unsworth would allow a player to decide that he should be in the team and not the manager himself? Thats an interesting concept, but not sure it’ll catch on.
