think he'd have thrived under moyes, but it was such a pointless signing, i said at the time there was no point seeing as siggy was the number one target and rooney was set to return. Made worse by the fact we couldn't even bring in a striker, it never made sense. Still willing to give him a chance as he did start to get in some good positions near the end of the match. He's obviously not a terrible player, he just doesn't fit here at all into the styles we want to play.

I wanted him to be good. We all did.
