David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Felt for him today when the 3rd went in. He looked a broken man.

But and I don't really blame him ( I blame everyone else) but it hasn't worked and after that performance a decision needs to be made.

He on a cheaper wage rate though!

He is mate, but if the damage he has done is irreparable it's all going to look like peanuts.

20 matches without a clean sheet and he's responsible for 7 of those. 3 wins in the league all season and he's responsible for 1 of them. What is that for Everton this season inc. the Europa qualifiers, 7 wins from 23 games? 12 losses? Not even sure any more. The numbers are horrific.

I think the main problem here is that Williams and Schneiderlin (more than most) are complete liabilities and have gotten worse game by game this season.

One strange thing for me was dropping Holgate. He does give away 1 chance per game...the rest give away chances all game.
I think Williams has been better than both Jags and Keane

We gave him a trial period it's not worked out for him - any new manager will have the same players - some better players to come back but things need to change fast!

I thought Holgate was injured? I wouldn't disagree with your comments on Williams and Schneiderlin, although the latter played very well the night I mentioned against City despite being sent off late on. It's our set up that I think we can do something about. I'd take a Nil-Nil against West Ham on Wednesday at this moment and to do this I think we need to look at our tactics.

Holgate is injured

If Holgate is injured I don't think we are capable of conceding less than 2 goals even playing super defensively.

Agreed. But he didn't have to bring williams on today, not when our left back gets injured. He didn't have to start Schneiderlin or Mirallas today, or Calvert-Lewin when Sandro has finally scored his first goal. DCL has two league goals in over 20 games.

Sa

Sad to say this is the Calebre of manager we will attract short term!
That's just it though Joey, what manager with any pride or self esteem will come short term?
"Can you save us from relegation please, oh and don't get too comfy cos we're booting you out and soon as our main main becomes available"
We wait til summer with this current set up and we're playing in the championship next season. There's only one man who'd maybe take this crap on short term, and again its speculation, and I'm not naming him in case my nose bleeds
