He said as you mention that the players on Thursday had made it 'easy to be dropped' so he started with the second worst (Keane) and brought on as the first sub the worst (Williams).
He starts with Mirallas and Schneiderlin, two players who just walked out of training. It happened, it was reported by loads... and he pretended in a press conference that it didn't happen.
Rooney the only player scoring league goals for us apart from Niasse.... gets dropped and we persist with the worst striker with more than 20 games for us that I have seen. Calvert-Lewin has absolutely nothing going for him.
When Royle came down the stairs today his humiliation was complete. Royle isn't the director of football, or a full time coach, but he's just walked out to the first team bench in the middle of a battering. Imagine if Ferguson did that to Moyes or Van Gaal, it would have been them finished instantly and lumbered with the stigma for the rest of their careers.

He was adamant from day one that he thought he was the right man on a permanent basis, almost to the point that he was deluded in his arrogance. So why is he now burying all his players and throwing them under double decker busses? He's taking no responsibility whatsoever, and now we have the embarrassment of Joe coming down with the arm round him for a word of comfort. It's a right old mess and embarassing.

They’re not directly in the firing line. Play Lookman against West Ham, he makes a couple of mistakes and the crowd, about 10 feet away, will be right down his throat...nothing will be held back
I don't mind Lennon tbh, one of our only true wide players, but Mirallas's continued existence at this club is a mystery to me and Schneiderlin has been utterly invisible this season

To be fair, that sounds amazingly like Koeman at the end
Kenny has a number of mistakes in him, that have lead to opportunities

Vlasic maybe highly rated but he’s played about 100 minutes; Lookman is massively over rated by our fan base. Lennon has offered more support to Kenny since coming back in

But we we had no money to bring in anyone decent Joe. The club was on its backside financially as well as on the football front.
Here, it's been poorly managed at all levels, but the finances are not quite as terminal as before. And Moyes could come into a club where there were no egos he couldn't get rid of - Blomqvist was gone as soon as he challenged him essentially which was what was needed.
Here someone has to deal with Walsh, Elstone, Kenwright, Moshiri and Jim White, Mirallas and co for at least another month, Royle floating about in this weird non-role, all kinds
