We'll win Sunday Adam, and do you know why I think that mate? Because 40,000 Evertonians will make it happen
Feel sorry for him he had to come into this mess caused by others - and into three away games on the spin.
His days are numbered in this role though.
Wrong timing. And I doubt he'll get the chance again.
Yeah, all that booing should really help.
I don't for one minute think his position with under 23's will be under threat from above, just worried his own confidence will be dented and he will be going back thinking, am I good enough? Is this as good as it's ever going to get here? When in reality it was a near impossible task in the circumstances and his reputation should not be muddied by it.
Lukaku's sale was all wrong, it wasn't enough money he was worth 120m and we should have said take it or leave it, or at least took a player from them we made it to easy for them. We should have asked for Rashford or Martial they wouldn't have been kean, but then we should have told them to forget it. He still had 2 years on his contract so there was no rush. The same reason we sold our centre forward before getting a replacement in .we think and act small time
We've tried the boos mate, they are too soft with that so we are going to try the wooos instead
Can't imagine worse conditions for any manager to have his first serious crack at the job than the ones we've got going on now. Nevertheless, in the games against Leicester and again tonight there have been enough clues to suggest that this is a little too early for Unsy. I think he'll make a good manager but the timing is just all wrong.
Looking at it selfishly we should all want him to go back to doing a great job with the kids but if I was him I think I'd be tentatively looking elsewhere for the right top gig.He needs 1st team management experience, doubt he'll get it here so he should move on (if he can) and get it, because I think he could be a good manager.
No Dave I feel if Dyke comes in Unsy will either be no 2 or go back to the 23sHe may now go out and try his luck in the lower divisions.
I respect what Unsworth did in giving this a go, because it may well burn his bridges getting back to his old role.
No fair play to unsworth don't think the club will burn his bridges but he might find it's harder going back into his role 2nd time around and look to move into a managerial roleHe may now go out and try his luck in the lower divisions.
