David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Serious concerns over his bullish word about going out to win. That should go without saying.

But perhaps a few words about not losing wouldn’t go amiss either. It’s fairly obvious how Leicester play. They’ve been doing the same thing for about 4 seasons.

Today’s line up was purely focused on how we would try and play with no thought on how the opposition play. Davies and Gana especially left horribly exposed.

Agree, so naive. Against Leicester we needed to sit deep and compact and hit them on the break. Unsworth thought that they would be crapping themselves at the thought of Mirallas and Lennon pushing forward, instead we played right into their hands.

Awful. Doesn’t even look like a manager. Unsworth saying he wants the job is delaying the appointment of someone who can actually help us. It’s well know he wants the job but he needs to stop being so ridiculously selfish and let someone who can actually do the job take over. It’s hindering us badly.

Idiot.

Anyone that thinks unsy or any manager after a week with then was going to turn us around, are deluded.

Nothing has changed from last week, needs time.

Turn it around, no of course he couldnt.

Playing Jags/Williams who are slow and devoid of confidence anyway, quite high up the pitch with just Gana to protect them against the pace and quality of Mahrez, Vardy and Gray is 100% Unsworth.

Everton fans last week: "Thank G-d we've got Rhino, he's one of our own, he'll turn things around, hope he gets to be manager, blah blah passion blah."
Everton fans this week: "Unsworth out. [Poor language removed] selection, [Poor language removed] tactics. Clueless. Thought he was [Poor language removed] anyway."

This is why I don't want him becoming manager. Because I knew the minute things went tits up, the fans would turn on him. And it's happened.

Our smarter fans must have come back off holiday this week

Yeah, no one expects some massive turnaround, but decent tactics gets us in the games against most clubs.

You can't defend Unsworth's set up today.

If the Board and Mosh want a new manager, it needs to happen sooner rather than later as we need to do some serious business in the January window. Simple as that. The longer we wait, the longer we have a caretaker, the less that next manager is going to know about this team and who he can/cannot rely upon.

Was willing to give him a chance before those half time subs, still can't get my head round why he took off our two most effective players.

Who else could have played at the back??

Had he played the kids at cb you would be moaning about him picking them also!!

Its the senior players that your supposed to be able to turn too.

The first goal....about 4 players could have stopes him, whatever is wrong, its affecting the whole squad. They need to work on it ans see what they can do.
