David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Owe it to ourselves is what I meant.

I think some of us need to be saved from ourselves here. I can sense the impatience that we haven't been linked with the greatest managers in the game and that some are looking at Unsworth with some irritation.

I said above that I dont think many realise we stand at a crossroads here. One more poor choice as manager and we are doomed.

Be careful what (superstar manager)you wish for.
Ah that makes more sense then what I thought you meant. I couldn't understand why we would "owe" Unsworth a manager's position.

Do Premier League clubs usually go headhunting trophy winners from the reserve league to manage them?

No precisely because they are from other clubs. The value he brings is an understanding of the players we have, the culture of the club, and the expectations of the fans. Plus the man knows football. I mean even if you don't want him, you can't argue he doesn't know what he's doing.

I've heard lots say everton are all about passion, effort, commitment and intensity. And yeah I'd hope we are. Cause that's the utter bare minimum. We need to be a winning team bottom line. We need quality and we don't have any. We love tacklers and runners at this club yet slate our 25 goal a season striker.

Mentality has to change. We are a club with no soul who have completely lost its way.

Luke ? Moran ?
No mate.
Glad your Chiefs are doing well though...

haha good old Luke Moran.

Well they were...two tough losses but should be ok. They'll break my heart just like Everton do though. It's sort of a comforting feeling knowing it'll all go tits up at some point.
