David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Thing is mate the defence is awful because it tries to play. A solid deep defence isn't getting caught out by Leicester, it it might not be the best defence in the league but huth and Morgan won a league title by defending right.

Point is unsworth hasn't sorted the defence out and that is the sole reason he shouldn't be considered for the job. We won a game, is that really the bar we are setting for a manager , win one out of 4?

Don't get me wrong I'm buzzing off the result but one win means nothing right now if palace beat us
Huth and Morgan weren't finished and they weren't beside a fullback who is also finished.

Koeman set us up to play deep and look what generally happened. Because we have no pace we couldn't get out and eventually we were hammered.

He has taken 3 points out of 6. With this squad Jesus couldn't work a bigger miracle.

3 points out of Leicester (Away) and Watford (Home).

Good performances against Chelsea and the other two away games for 60mins until player like MS gave up after the first went in.

He picked a team that would fight for him. When Sigurdsson and Rooney went on he brought in two of his kids who would fight for him. We got a result.

I would sell all those senior prima-donas. Play the kids and take as much money as we can get back for the rest. Those senior players aren't going to keep us up. Use the kids as a base and bring in the right players.

spot on

Unsworth is still definitely an option mate of course.

Ideally none of the 3! But then ideally we shouldn’t be where we are.

Of the 3 though, I’d lean towards Dyche. But obviously I understand the risk of him.
At least you nailed your colors to the mask. I would give Unsworth longer. If we reach mid table we can appoint someone in the summer if need be. If we drop down into the bottom 3 I would go for Big Sam.

Dyche is like hiring a young Moyes. It's basically the board indicating that they have no more ambition than to be a mid table team plus any players Dyche buys will be of a certain type. It will be very hard to then change that.

Let’s just wait and see hey.

But worth remembering that we still were pretty poor today.

you are now mind reading.

if Vlasic had played half a Dozen times for the 23s, Rhino would have him in.

Rhino is using his know knowns.

Spot on this. All managers will favour players they know and trust. The issue, for me, is can Rhino deal with talented ( but possibly more difficult ) players and keep them happy. That's not something he's had to do at U23 level.

We also have literally no idea how he’d do in a transfer window.
