Reckon Pienaar can still do a job though mate?
Yes of course we are. Look, listen, never mind 7th, we're only 11 points off top four, string four wins together and hey there, champions league. It's easy when you put it like that.A win today can take us up to 15th 8 points away from 7th place.... with 27 games to play do you think we are panicking a little too early...
You tell them ItchyCan people stop being mental please?!
How long would he of had to be with us to fulfil that unfinished business?A win today can take us up to 15th 8 points away from 7th place.... with 27 games to play do you think we are panicking a little too early...
Davey Moyes would love to come back he has unfinished business with us, he understands this club & can take us onwards upwards & & back into Europe, it is never to late....
IMWT.... All hail the Moyessiah.
He did an up and down job and he had us playing the worst football we've seen (apart from maybe Koeman...I'd even place Smith ahead of Moyes in that respect...and that is some feat to fall below that man's standards). As @davek will tell you I am Moyes' biggest fan.
I think he did a remarkable job with us which is surely becoming clearer as each season passes.
However I wouldn't have him back as manager - time has moved on - his reputation has been undermined.
As director of football / head of scouting I'd have him back tomorrow.
He put together the best analytics team in the league, excellent scouting team and could judge a player very well - again as time moves on moaning about a handful of bad signings in a decade seems silly when we have an entire team of expensive useless plodders.
Simple logical planning like having a blackboard with "team we have now", "team in 3 years" and who we need to sign/promote from youths to bridge the gap seems beyond subsequent managers.

I do agree with you though. He's proven just how pathetic he is as a coach in the outside world and time has moved on. This is no time to be making Evertonians even more upset by linking him to the vacant Everton managerial vacancy.
I can only give you an appraisal on the basis of the games I watched when both were here. It's basically like choosing between one of the Chuckle Brothers, I grant you. But one does seem to be fractionally more intelligent than the other.Kids - this is what happens when you let hate take over your heart.
There weren't really very many chuckles though.I can only give you an appraisal on the basis of the games I watched when both were here. It's basically like choosing between one of the Chuckle Brothers, I grant you. But one does seem to be fractionally more intelligent than the other.
