Why would you want Moyes when Fat Sam is available?

It just doesn't make sense.

Fat Sam kept Sunderland in the Premier League; Moyes took them down.

Allardyce is is a greedy man who has no interest in Everton.....more interested in his own interests....

Moyes on the other would fight all the way with passion & pride for this club....

No comparison 4 me.....Moyes hands down.....

Is that the same Moyes who left us for another club and then tried to steal our then two best players?

Writing off someone does not make sense - in fact it is adversity where one is supposed to learn the most. While he may end up somewhere else, I am sure he will be a good gaffer again. I mean, if he ends up at West Ham he could do a good job there.

If he ends up here then he at least has good knowledge of the staff, the setup and will be able to get the defence working again

David Moyes did an excellent job when he was here and I have never understood the concept that he was bad manager. the football played was also under rated. Peinnar-baines were excellent, artetta was a maestro. We had Saha, yakubu.
He managed teams that was well balanced and had them playing together. In terms of salaries, everton were miles behind most the league and yet we were the best of the rest.
It’s about time that he was recognised for the job he did for us.
Should he come back. No chance. The fire has gone. And that’s what is needed

I think that Moyes May accept a short term contact until the end of the season to try and rebuild his reputation which could’ve a win win for both parties. If he’s moderately successful we can look to extend it but if he only just keeps us up we could look elsewhere.

That's what I have been thinking too. Now that we will probably find a new manager and not giving the position to Unsworth, it's not a bad idea to give it to Moyes until the end of the season and see how it goes, unless we can get in a really good and big name manager now (which I don't think we can at the moment, although I do prefer this option). He is available, knows the club, and probably accepts short term contract.

One manager who is open to taking charge at Goodison Park is David Moyes, who has admitted that he would be interested in managing Everton for a second time.

Moyes has been out of work since leaving Sunderland at the end of last season following their relegation to the Championship.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Moyes said: "If the job came up I would be interested, but I've got other interests as well.

"Bill [Kenwright] is one of the best chairmen so anyone who does get the job will be working with a really good chairman who's incredibly supportive.

"I had 11 great years there - I loved it. Sometimes going back isn't always the answer but Jose Mourinho went back to Chelsea and won the league, and now Jupp Heynckes is back at Bayern Munich.
