David Moyes

Rubbish. Constantly referred to 'Everton', never we or us. Showed how he viewed the club once he'd gone to United. Would rather have Martinez back.
by 'got' the club, I mean he understood what it took to avoid getting relegated.

Its a miracle we didnt get relegated under Walker, Smith and HK mk3, Royle was on course for relegation, Martinez was driving us towards it.

The last manager to avoid that before Moyes was probably HK mk2, coincidentally along with Moyes the only manager in living memory that was not sacked.

Koeman got what his form deserved but I think it's daft to say we're in a relegation battle. It's October, a win or 2 and we fly up the table, and we had a really difficult start. We need someone to turn our form around (the fact the team looks like it just doesn't work is the main thing) but I personally don't think we'll be near relegation no matter who we bring in.

If the boys at the top bring in someone to stave us off relegation, that's a massive amateur move. We can still get something out of this season even with a rotten start. It's October. Let's have some ambition.

It's funny how he would probably be welcomed back with open arms by most, if he had just stayed away from us when he went to United. He had the pick of the best talent in world football to play/buy and he just had to try and do it on the cheap from us.

Wouldn't be surprised if he thinks that was the biggest mistake of his entire life nowadays.

I think everyone i've spoken to have unanimously decided to hand their season tickets back if he's reappointed.

The club know it's a tender subject, and Kenwright surely can't be that stupid.

I hope you're right. I think the anger and violence that would result would be disastrous for the image of the club. Plus, even if Bill has gone totally bananas and wants Moyes back, I very much doubt Moshiri would be interested given Moyes' recent record.

Well it's not the whole fan base who doesn't want moyes back.
I for one think he's the outstanding candidate. He had a great record with us, we always had the team up for it. I think if we got him back we would have the best chance of a turnaround and actually doing something this season.
Appointing moyes would be the least risky choice, it would be the obvious choice and the best one. Anyone against it just has a vendetta against him for joining man utd but anyone who was in his position at the time would have done the same

I am 100% against it because he is not a winner. Proved that over 11 years.

He is not the one.

Sorry I don't agree anyone would of done the same. Try and sign Fellaini and Baines fair enough but to say Everton are holding them back and bad mouthing the club who made him what he was at the time was disrespefctul and actually surprising as i thought the man had a bit of class about him.

He should not be brought back here he's finished.

He's tainted goods and would be lucky to get a job in the Championship. He would represent a backwards step for the club, I can't see Moshiri sacking Koeman only to go for a guy who's going to tell us how average we are at every opportunity.

Least risky option?

He's failed spectacularly in his last 3 jobs. I can't stand the man but even putting that to one side on merit he should be nowhere near consideration

Sorry mate, but my aspirations for Everton go beyond knowing what it takes to avoid relegation.
