2025/26 David Moyes

Villa were 3 points above the drop zone when Emery went there by the way. They qualified for Europe that season and have been in it every year since. Don’t let him twist the narrative to suggest it’s a miracle we’re 10th in the league.

We'll be thanking him for allowing us to dream...
Sad, isn't it?
Ive got to admit that upto a few weeks back, and still reminded of our last European venture, I wasn't that arsed about getting a place in a European competition. Then it was a case of why not.
Im not that clued up on who is out there to take us forward but there must be a relatively unknown such as recent Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton coaches chomping at the bit at the chance of managing an archetypal sleeping giant.

I can't see him being removed, whilst we know he wasn't the TFG plan (forced by Dyche effectively resigning) they can't help but see a season with no risk of relegation as progress. And objectively this is fair.

But like many I really worry about the transfer window under Moyes, and he must start using a squad. We've not won for five games but will he meaningfully change for next game? Don't hold your breath.

True and would love us to be doing that, but our scouting system is rubbish too. Again, the is a reason that’s having a major overhaul and they bringing in people who are considered world class in the scouting system. The lad they got in recently is classed as one of the best in the field.

These clubs have had all these scouts in place for years, we are playing catch up now.

Didn’t we just make our Scandinavian scout redundant too?

Will we see them young players been signed by Moyes? No chance. He wants experience
That's my point, and why we need to get rid of Moyes.
