2025/26 David Moyes

We’d have been one of if not the favourites for the conference league if we’d got in it. We’re much less likely to win the league cup or FA cup. Teams around us are ending decade long trophy droughts each season and we are throwing away chance after chance. Newcastle, Villa soon, Palace. Well soon be left being the only major club in the league with multi decade trophy drought.

Let's face it, Moyes let the cat out of the bag the other day talking about the two game a week 'burden'.

It suits him not to get to Europe because he'd have us way down the bottom half of the league if he had to coach two games per week.

Yep had West Ham 14th season he won conference.

Deluded, do you want Moyes to blow £200 million plus and still leave us with an older player profile and have another few big money misses? People seem to be ignoring the fact that he spent over £500 million at West Ham and had a lot of big money signings who didn't work out.

If we could get Iraola and he could tempt 2 of Scott, Rayan or Kroupi then we'd have a fantastic midfield and more goal threat.

Last season he moulded their defence so well that they went to RS, PSG and Madrid. Get him top notch young players and rebuild the defence.

Big money needed if theres appetite for success.

Today didnt cost us Europe.

The weak backbone of the squad cost us Europe.

Results at home have been woeful, but the lack of dropping favourites has been dire.

Tarkowski started season giving away a pen at Leeds and hes never got right since, hes been consistently poor, but always seems to get a pass.

Moyes best attributes are that hes boring but very, very solid.

3 clean sheets in 2026. Points dropped to Wolves, Burnley, Spurs, West Ham...

Frustrating and if this is the best were getting, let me off. Absolutely garbage.

I said early in the season Tarkowski has completely gone: head and body.

Oh how the 'clever people' laughed...I wonder if they're laughing now?

"David Moyes just needs 'three or four top players' to get into Europe."
Give over, mate.

Can you even rattle off the starting XIs for Bournemouth, Brighton, and Brentford? I bet you'd struggle to name more than four.

The game's moved on, hasn't it? Football these days is all about the system, not just throwing bodies at the problem. If the blueprint is rubbish, you’re going nowhere fast.

I’m not sure it’s arrogance, but he’s not doing himself any favours.
He is arrogant at times.

Obviously it’s a much bigger job at Everton than our fans are letting on. The starting 11 is practically what Dyche had. I think he consists with the starting 11 to go see, look what I’ve done with this 11 that others couldn’t.

He’d inherited a terrible squad and yes he added players but the starting 11 is practically what Dyche used baring KDH, Beto, Rohl and O’Brien today.

Patterson
Keane
Tarkowski
McNeil
Beto
Mykolenko
Coleman
O’Brien
N’Diaye
Gana
Garner
Branthwaite
Pickford
Ireobunam

Are all players he inherited and for me 7 of those players you’d keep on the squad but not all of them should be starters anymore.

Moyes since mentioning champions league football:
