It feels dirty, but it also feels good. The genius of Moyes again. That man just transcends the minds of normal men. Am I doing this right @JobForTheMoyes ? I feel dirty.

McNeil isn’t what I’d call a veteran. It feels like he is, but he’s only 26.Ouch...blew it already? That sucks. Thank God he isnt as tough with the senior veterans like Tarks, Keane , Myko and McNeil...we wouldnt be able to field a team![]()

This just doesn't really stand up in the context of Rohl, Aznou, Alcaraz and George all getting the same or similar treatment from Moyes. Even Armstrong now can't get any minutes off the bench. You'd better tell that to managers of Real Madrid. What I'm saying is that Moyes didn't go to Kinnear and say get me Dibling. More like he was given a list of who we could afford one of whom was Dibling I mean it's not as if Dibling has pulled up trees on the pitch and Moyes has left him on the bench. I don't have any agenda I just think that Moyes shouldn't necessarily take the rap for players individual mistakes. Without some glaring cock ups on the pitch in the last six weeks we could easily be looking at CL qualification.
That explains the lack of a right foot! Stepped on a land mine and blew it offHe runs like a war veteran
Keeping Dibling on the bench for an entire season is not strategic, its poor management.I think we need to think more strategically. If it’s true we are trying for Bowen and N’Diaye is leaving then Dibling would have an excellent mentor to help him improve.
For me N’Diaye has been really disappointing of late and it makes me wonder if the exit rumours are true. It would also help explain why he wouldn’t pass the ball to better positioned players against City - he’s trying to make himself look good at the expense of good team play.
Bowen is a far better player. My hesitation is I think he will be offered a deal by one of the top four.Keeping Dibling on the bench for an entire season is not strategic, its poor management.
So presumably you thinkI remember these discussions from his first spell. There was always a stat that over the last 12 months Moyes had Everton in the top 4 for form etc. but unfortunately seasons are self contained entities and when it came down to it we were only in the top 4 once when a season actually ended.
If we’d have maintained the form from the second half of last season throughout this season we’d probably be in the CL, but as usual we don’t, we do just enough to ensure we finish outside of the prizes being given out, almost always. It’s why these kinds of stats are meaningless, all that matters is what the league table says at the end of the season.
Surely the answer is a mix of both positions. Partially, but not entirely Moyes - he picks the players and sets the tactics. Partially but not entirely the players - they are either ignoring the tactics, or making basic errors or any other under-performance at key moments.Dude, you've crafted narrative after narrative about how Moyes isn't the guy signing the players rather than just saying he didn't get it right. Dibling was £40m he wasn't some off the shelf £5m pound player that he was presented with at the end of the window. We publicly chased him all summer.
Even now you're saying you don't have a pro-Moyes agenda whilst saying the last six weeks is entirely on the players.
If Moyes isn't responsible for signing players, preparing the players for our run in, or the results that we get then what is he responsible for? I'm betting if I went through the vaults that you were bigging up Moyes after the Chelsea result. If he's responsible for the good results, why isn't he responsible for the bad ones?
He had his chance of a top 6 move a few seasons ago and I'd say it's gone now, the big boys won't come in for him now imo.Bowen is a far better player. My hesitation is I think he will be offered a deal by one of the top four.

Ndiaye like many of our players just looks tired. Not a coincidence that the form of all our best players has fallen off a cliff at the tail end of a season where they've been run into the ground by the managers refusal to use his squad.I think we need to think more strategically. If it’s true we are trying for Bowen and N’Diaye is leaving then Dibling would have an excellent mentor to help him improve.
