2025/26 David Moyes

Let's face it, Moyes let the cat out of the bag the other day talking about the two game a week 'burden'.

It suits him not to get to Europe because he'd have us way down the bottom half of the league if he had to coach two games per week.

He had the poorest Liverpool team I’ve seen in over a decade at our mercy once it went to 1-1 and with it the chance to go and get CL football and what we saw in that moment was a complete and utter coward who fundamentally believed Everton had no right at either beating Liverpool or getting CL football. Almost any other manager in the league (except maybe Silva) sees that game out with at least a draw from that position. That Liverpool team didn’t even want to be on that pitch and didn’t even want to play for their manager and we just went up the other end after scoring, pulled our pants down, and sat their for 30 minutes inviting them to take us from behind.

In that moment I knew nothing had changed with this team or manager and we’d get nothing this season.

Kinnear will ask the players though and they’ll all say he’s great, and then he’ll have all the ex blues in the hospitality suites saying he’s great, then he’ll have Tony Bellew saying he’s great, then he’ll be saying to the Freidkins that Moyes is great.

It just never ends at Everton, we are allergic to success.
Not sure about the ex blues, certainly a good number of the 80's winners don't rate him from when I've chatted with them.

The City collapse the other night: Moyes threw the team under the bus for it. No flys on the Moyesiah.

An utter 💩bag of a man

I said early in the season Tarkowski has completely gone: head and body.

Oh how the 'clever people' laughed...I wonder if they're laughing now?
I am still laughing at it. Yes his time is coming closer to the end but he has still been steady enough. We need to look at new cb pairings beyond Branths & JOB as Branths has become a sick note

He is arrogant at times.

Obviously it’s a much bigger job at Everton than our fans are letting on. The starting 11 is practically what Dyche had. I think he consists with the starting 11 to go see, look what I’ve done with this 11 that others couldn’t.

He’d inherited a terrible squad and yes he added players but the starting 11 is practically what Dyche used baring KDH, Beto, Rohl and O’Brien today.

Patterson
Keane
Tarkowski
McNeil
Beto
Mykolenko
Coleman
O’Brien
N’Diaye
Gana
Garner
Branthwaite
Pickford
Ireobunam

Are all players he inherited and for me 7 of those players you’d keep on the squad but not all of them should be starters anymore.
The starting eleven is pretty much players Dyche had because Moyes blew the summer transfer window. It wasn't a terrible squad, it was a mid table squad and needed some improvement. Moyes completely failed to do that, why do you think he's going to do it this summer?
