2025/26 David Moyes

One of the most utterly bollocks excuses people use to defend David Moyes' home record is: "He’s having to adapt to a new stadium, just like Arsenal, West Ham, and Spurs did.
(somewhere else, not here)

That’s absolute mental. We’ve played 18 matches at the New Everton Stadium already. The lads could literally train on that pitch every single day if they wanted to.

Yet, we’re still staring down the barrel of a home defeat to end the season—because let’s face it, Sunderland’s done it to us before.

How is it that the "home" side looks so clueless in their own backyard, while half these away teams turn up for the very first time, visit once a year, and walk away with all three points?
Only 6 teams have won even half of their home games this season. All these are teams who have generally been in their stadiums for years. It would be good for our home form to be better but to act as if a new stadium hasn’t impacted it and ignore the fact that the majority of teams don’t “usually” win at home isn’t very objective.

Away teams generally have less pressure on them as there’s so few of their fans there.
