2025/26 David Moyes

I think to give Moyes a new contract would be a massive mistake and show a complete lack of ambition from the new owners .
I would part company with him in the summer regardless of where we finish now.
There is a nucleus of good young players at the club but I don't trust Moyes to get the best out of them.
Do you not think he got the best out of Garner,KDH and Ndiaye this season?

Any half decent manager could get a tune out of those three , KDH and Ndiaye were always quality players and it was glaring obvious that Jimmy Garner was a midfield player but Moyes kept playing at right back.
Fair play mate.

Chelsea *World champions* struggled to get a tune out of KDH

Ndiaye struggled in France.

Think you'll probably find with Garner though a couple of managers tried him at RB, but Moyes got him his first England cap playing CM.

But I see your point, ever so slightly 👍

One of the most utterly bollocks excuses people use to defend David Moyes' home record is: "He’s having to adapt to a new stadium, just like Arsenal, West Ham, and Spurs did.
(somewhere else, not here)

That’s absolute mental. We’ve played 18 matches at the New Everton Stadium already. The lads could literally train on that pitch every single day if they wanted to.

Yet, we’re still staring down the barrel of a home defeat to end the season—because let’s face it, Sunderland’s done it to us before.

How is it that the "home" side looks so clueless in their own backyard, while half these away teams turn up for the very first time, visit once a year, and walk away with all three points?
