You seem to be absolving Moyes of…everything in every case where he has accountability.I think there have been too many cases of senior players in squads finishing managers for it to be untrue. If you listen to any of the ex United player podcasts it's evident that Ferguson and Moyes had totally different management styles which Giggs, Ferdinand,Evra and Van Persie weren't going to warm to.
Think the problems will come in the back four, Branthwaite we can't really rely on and Tarkowski is in decline. Having to find a CB to partner O'Brien and a full back duo plus two strikers might be just too much to do in one window. We will absolutely be spending a significant amount. Been the line since January that they were keeping their powder dry then to go big in summer. That's since been reiterated by a few journalists.
Grealish we will sign for a not massive amount and also expect he will accept taking a wage cut (though obviously will still be on a big wage).
Barry will get another season, and Beto will be the one that goes purely due to his contract being up and not being good enough for a new contract.
Dibling I think will most likely be properly integrated into the team next season, in the way that we were expecting him to be this season.
The big question is will we be able to attract the players we want as you say. I think depends on what kind of team we're trying to build. I dont think Moyes will have any trouble bringing in the type of players that he seemingly wants
- experienced English players in the vein of Grealish and KDH. If we're looking to go for more high potential players from abroad then I think he might run into the same problems he did last summer.
I think it's not a case of Moyse saying he wants player A and nobody else, more a case of the other two members of the committee giving him the option of player A or B.It’s enough control to take responsibility for the players bought under his “final say”. He could simply say “no.”
Could still finish 15th , only 1 point more so far than last year , not good tbh .
Given the age of a few of the back four, one of the midfield and the need for two strikers we'll need to spend big to stay even mid table. If that’s the case, there’s basically no reason to spend big in the summer. It’d be total lunacy to throw money at Moyes and let him buy his targets just to finish mid-table.
I believe Iriaola would would certainly have us in the driving seat for Europe right now. This season if Grealish had stayed fit and with a few different VAR decisions we could have still been in the mix. I'm not Moyes's biggest fan and can see his obvious faults as a manager but with a squad of players none of whom are good enough to be regular starters in any of the top six teams he's done as well as any manager could have done. And the question remains, who could we realistically attract to replace him who'd do a better job with this group of players?

They are consistent in how they play and how they approach games, he doesnt care who hes playing he goes for the win.
Hurzeler
Keith Andrews
Marco Silva
Iriaola
A useless Chelsea
All out performing Moyes.
Do any of us know what Everton will turn up on Monday or any week for that matter? No we dont and thats a problem that comes from the manager
But but but look were not in a relegation fight.............A boring negative Everton.

Agree Tarkowski needs phasing out after a wobbly season and Branthwaites fitness a real worry now.Think the problems will come in the back four, Branthwaite we can't really rely on and Tarkowski is in decline. Iriaola won't manage us and we've done the double over Silva's Fulham this season. And we've taken 4 points out of Brighton...I believe Iriaola would would certainly have us in the driving seat for Europe right now.

Ben White, Nathan Ake and John Stones coming in will solve all of our defensive issues.Agree Tarkowski needs phasing out after a wobbly season and Branthwaites fitness a real worry now.
Thats where recruitment team need to earn their wages tbh. Strikers and fullbacks are hard to find and very expensive. Centre backs there's more deals to be found imo.
