2025/26 David Moyes

I never like jumping on a manager after a defeat and ive always been very pro Moyes. But i can now start to see some cracks appear. If your going to play the same team every week then you are nullifying the progression of the young prospects and they will be vital for the future.

So if you are going to do that then you must be getting results to justify what your doing.

Playing Gueye every match is odd, surely Iroegbunam is the future and should be starting here. Barry looks finished as an Everton player. The full back situation has been an issue all season. I dont mind Mcneil, but he has looked off it the last 2 games now and is another that should have been dropped.

The season is now in the bin and we cant even look into the next season with promise because all the young prospects arent getting a look in or are deemed not good enough. I dont really see how next season is going to be any better because another overhaul is needed.

Can’t understand anyone that thinks we should be offering him another contract. Natural progression would be bringing in a progressive coach to take us up a gear. As horrific as it was on the pitch Dyche managed to get us through a difficult spell, Moyes came in and has moved us on further and now the Friedkins have got to be looking at someone to take us to the next level.

There is no positives in keeping Moyes beyond this season.
Why give him any funds in the summer when he will not improve the team, and 12 months later have a new guy with new ideas come into a thrown together squad and need to completely rebuild?
The three sides coming up next year, Coventry, Ipswich/Millwall/Boro/Saints will be terrible as usual and struggle to get 30pts, so in that way its nearly a free hit to bring in the new guy now (if the right one is available).
We know Moyes level, its far too cosy and comfortable here for him, journos wont annoy him and if they do he takes a hissy fit.
New guy in asap.
