Probably a bit harsh on
Everyone, as you hear that teams are planning their recruitment over 12 months and the team had only been together a few months and the two we brought in from city and Utd, didn’t join the club till after the window closed

Thats on the CEO for me.

That should have been a massive priority to get that summer window right.

In some ways that’s good, we need to dig a little deeper in our scouting.

No mate it isn't better that good players won't want to sign for us if we're finishing lower down the league

Yes, obviously he has final say.

But if the options available to us are all not great then that's what he has to choose from. Obviously they aren't his first choice but then you have Muppets here acting like he was the driving force behind us wanting Barry or Dibling.

He wanted a winger and a striker with a younger profile and these lads were the best options the recruitment team put in front of him that would sign for us.

Some of you act like he turned down signing Woltemade for Barry as if it wasn't the other way around.

How do we get better players wanting to sign for us? By finishing higher up the league. If he has to play certain players over your favourites to do that then that's the job.

I definitely read in the past few weeks either the athletic or joyce or someone reputable saying Moyes pushed for Dibling.

As for Barry, Moyes track record on centre forwards is ropey at best.

He also wanted to pay 40mil for Ramsey and wanted soucek.

It was obvious Dibling and Barry weren’t first choice. The Portuguese player who
Ended up at Juve was first choice apparently, then it was kubo, forfana. So basically came
Down to hutcinson and Dibling and the club didn’t think Hutchinson was worth what Ipswich wanted.
Delap was first choice striker by the looks of it

Well, at least Moyes got Rohl and extended Colemans contract
