Doubt we gave him only crap to choose from, cmon

I'm giving him crap for his entire career, every transfer window being more or less the same with very, very few exceptions and they're usually ones where loans are converted.
I don't know who is negotiating personally, and neither do any of us, but when the players come in and say "oh I spoke to the gaffer very early on" and the transfer gets done late - I dunno, feels like it's somewhere down the line that something gets messed up. What is it? I dunno, as much as I want to, but it's been that way everywhere he's been more or less.
It's not a 'blanket' criticism either - I think he 100% deserves the praise for Grealish, for getting the absolute most out of Ndiaye, etc. - many things to be happy about - but there are things we knew about Moyes in both man/game management and transfer management and requirements that are blatantly still happening.
You don't need to die on this hill (for me at least

) - I'm largely on the side of neutrality for this scenario mate. I'm very okay with his tenure currently and do believe he should see out his contract (in this moment in time, for the inevitable vaults ffs), the only thing that genuinely truly frustrates me is not playing Dibling or Aznou at all and instead going with McNeil, but that's a 'me' problem I guess. The RB calamity was unfortunate but should've been pinned early as it was always a glaring problem.
