2025/26 David Moyes

That's my point: Frank would leave Brentford for Spurs because its obviously a very big step up. Swapping modern day Bournemouth or Palace or Brighton for modern day Everton (4 interchangeable mid table sides at best) really is not, no matter how much people want to believe modern day players and managers care who did what 40 years ago.

I'm not playing us down as a club, just living in reality and accepting that highly regarded managers (just like top players) aren't exactly queueing up to come to a club that has won nothing for three decades, spent years either circling the drain and has never really done anything or being anything of note in the Prem era beyond making up the numbers IF they have the opportunity to join a club that sits at the top table - not unless we throw a big bag of cash at them (which is exactly how we got the likes of Koeman and Carlo). I'd be delighted to be proved wrong in the summer.
Well im guessing Frank is getting paid a lot more money at spurs than he did at Brentford, slot will be getting paid a lot more so will the Utd, Chelsea mangers ETC. that’s how it works. And Frank wound have left Brentford for Everton in the summer if we were the club in for him.

Let’s leave it there

Because of the money wasted this last summer (60m +)I hope Moyes is not given any more money to spend in the coming transfer window, Let somebody else in the club bring in the possible new players.

Livramento has played leftback more times this season for Newcastle than hall.

The site i work on is full of season ticket holders of Geordies. I will let them know they only won because Hall and Livaremento played together again.

They will definitely say that was a big part of it as they have missed playing their first choice full backs together this season, they are very important for them.

Trippier has been crap for ages, they will tell you that too.

Completely hypothetical to state Frank would have come here or not, just like I could say I'd wager if it was a choice between us and Spurs he's picking the London-based club near where he lives that plays in the Champions League, not swapping one mid-level job for another.

But I'm happy to not go round and round. We'll see what the summer holds and/or if TFG even want to make any changes. Enjoy your evening.

Serena Williams has won Wimbledon the most times.

She also gets knocked out consistently.

Exactly. You seem to be confusing the fact that's it's harder to win these tightly fought contests consistently, than it is to lose them. History proves you wrong my friend. Great teams and sportspeople consistently lose one off matches. Man United won 2 Champions Leaguge's under Ferguson. Chelsea won ZERO under Mourinho. Pep has one won at City. Serena Williams got knocked out of 10 of the Wimbledon's she competed in.

I do not believe in the system he is trying to run and doubly so with the players he is trying to run it with. I cannot judge him on the Newcastle game specifically because we were put under due to the keeper having a mare and giving up a first minute goal. Our lack of goalscoring threat to me is due to failure in recruitment in key positions.

I am not a fan of KDH in the 10. Good player. Nothing really wrong with him. He pidgeonholes us into playing a certain way which I do not agree with- particularly with Grealish and Ndiaye not having blistering pace nor fullbacks to really support them. We have good players but not the right mix to get results.

Arsenal have won the FA Cup the most in our history.

But it means nothing, they consistently get knocked out.

How ridiculous does that sound.

Get a grip.

No. He’s right. We currently aren’t on the same level of Newcastle and I’m surprised some people think we are.
Getting my aspirin ready for the sound of the collective thud of all the heads falling off at the suggestion that a team/club that has been an absolute mess and utter clownshow for years and is in the early days of a rebuild is not on the same level as a team with hundreds of millions spent on it, has recently won a trophy, has top class players, plays Champs League football, and has one of the best coaches in the game at the helm. Tis crazy talk, I tell ya!
