2025/26 David Moyes

The feller cant help himself:

"No one thought when I came in here last season that Beto could get goals".

...imagine being Beto and hearing that....then he says it's up to him and the staff to make him feel more confident!!

On Dibing: 'Barkley and Stones had to wait to get into the team'...yeah, when he left the club.
He didn’t mention Barkley, he mentioned Baines, Lescott and Stones.

Tbf he did follow that up with how fantastic he was and that his goals helped keep us up.

Win this weekend and everyone can kick on. Just keep the Everton death spiral away, there’s zero need for it this season. Decent performance, take our chances, don’t do anything stupid and we win this.

No he's not and he didn't sign them off.
The squad was woefully short of experience and we throw £70m at 3 prospects.

Couple more loans could have been a game changer if we want to go down the prospect route.
There's been a transfer committee established which Moyes plays a role in where he is able to veto potential signings. It was reported on a lot during the transfer window

Per minute, Alcaraz lags the average Premier League attacking midfielder in goals, assists, key passes, progressive carries and pass completion. He is way behind in tackles, interceptions and duels won.

These are simply the facts and no doubt are the reasons he finds himself stuck on the bench.
"It's not Moyes' fault, it's Alcaraz's"

You are a parody account.

1 win in 8.

Could do with one this weekend

Think we're only +3 points on same stage after 10 games last season.
This is the pertinent stat. We're marginally better than under Dyche in his worst season with us. Despite this we still have posters telling us that we're "a much better side" and "Moyes has stabilised us".

He needs three points this weekend and he needs to stop qualifying and rationalising his failures in the media.
