2025/26 David Moyes

West Ham get Nuno in and look a million times better straight off the bat.

Wasn't it down to the size of his entourage that Moshiri walked away from a deal for him here?

FFS.

You'd have to tell me why Alacaraz wouldn't work as a false nine...

Easy enough saying it like.
He looks after the ball worse than any attacking midfielder we've had in the last few years barring Doucoure. I couldn't think of many players worse suited to that role.

Ndiaye could maybe do it, maybe.

Alcaraz doesn't have the guile, the intelligence or the quality to play that role.

He's a ball carrier in transitions, that's about it.

The official post match interviews are a waste of time. We could get beat 3-0 and they would say something like “ On to the positives and it was a good warm up for the players before kick off and a debut for our third kit”.

Naismith played it - and well.

But early to write Barry off. He’s barely through the door. All of these players need time to get used to the environment.

Its a fair enough point but its not shy of £50m for both. 50mill and we just seem to be swapping them over hoping one might do better than the other.
Watched that igor jesus for forest last week away at betis. 10m from botafogo and gotta be honest he looked better than both.
More than happy to give Barry time. But i do wish just once we'd sign a striker who looks ready to go.
