2025/26 David Moyes

Starting to think Moyes is just the auld cardie wearing dinosaur we all thought he was.

He did an amazing job when he first came in but he’s being found out now.

Plenty of decent young managers about who could do a job… glasner from palace. Ariola from Bournemouth

Certainly a week where his critics were given plenty of ammunition. The derby no-show, cup capitulation, and now this anaemic performance have laid bare the realities of this squad under this manager. To keep the momentum, we needed to get off the bus at Anfield and contest that match. We didn't. The game was gone when we did. The Wolves game showed the disconnect between the manager's priorities and the fans' aspirations. Tonight was merely the usual failure to push on when holding the upper hand.

We sit ninth tonight. The very definition of "stability". I would never have brought him back, but I don't see him going anywhere until the summer if he has us ninth for much of the season. It's going to be joyless, however. His problem now is he's facing two of the best sides in the league next. Lose those and things could get hairy.
