2025/26 David Moyes

At no point in his Everton tenure was Dyche left without his 5 best players. So your argument is yet another straw man, to the surprise of nobody at all.

He was missing players plenty of times you absolute weapon

I put forward a whole load of context for Dyche including his transfer spending relative to everyone else in the league, players kissing through injury, refereeing decisions against us, individual errors, the quality of the players in the squad, the ownership position and contact situatio

You and the other cry bots all told me none of these excuses mattered. Nil satis. It’s his job to make use of what he has. The players are more than good enough.

Now however you’re all using the exact same context I provided! The players are still not good enough, we still get too many injuries, we still get bad refereeing decisions etc.

Yes these things impact Moyes just as they impacted Dyche, but you’re happy to see them for one manager but not the other

You’re just a massive hypocrite

Go and find me an occasion when Dyche had his 5 best players all unavailable at any one time. Best of luck.

Would love to see what would happen to literally any other team in the league if you removed their 5 (FIVE) best footballers from the matchday squad.

Take 5 best players out from almost any team in the league and they would struggle, hence we are struggling. But yeah, all on the manager this, disgrace, boooooo etc.

This is why we've been rubbish for years: people who make excuses for THAT trash today handing excuses out to Everton managers.

It was 'kin BURNLEY.

Dyche would be harassed out of the country for this. David should not get off the hook either. We need to be better. Too many excuses for this guy after he had a wombo amount of money to spend and two of the players he blew the load on featured in this game for a decent stretch. Let's not happy clap. Burnley are worse than we are. He needs to be able to adapt and get results in situations like this.

Not sure what fans are expecting 1 year into having new owners and having our 5 best players out for different reasons. This will be a gradual rebuild and improvement, we’re not suddenly going to turn into CL contenders.
I’m expecting them to understand that it wasn’t going to happen and start revitalizing the squad in a real way while building a system that can help us progress up the table.

Instead we’re second lowest scorers while most of our players with upside either watch or play out of position every week. This season is pretty much the most disastrous we could have save for relegation. We’re getting NOTHING out of any of this.

Did anyone look at that team sheet and see it winning? There is no goals in what we have left as a squad and the bench. It’ll take 2-3 transfer windows to fix that. Wish we had a hard Christmas and January so the “easy” games come with a fully fit squad.

What does Dyche have to do with anything? Do you want him back? No right? Then it’s not the standard and no one should care what he did or what he’s doing now.
