2025/26 David Moyes

Barring a miracle run it's an obvious no for me and should be planned to be the case as of months ago. The amount of Moyes old pals that are in high places in the club now though concerns me.
Coleman alone makes me say no. He should not have been re-signed as much as I like him. It's just an indictment of old bring a blue home philosophy

6th and 7th were the best back to back finishes in West Ham history. So relative success no longer counts?

Simple fact is he got them into Europe three seasons on the bounce with quarter final finishes in each campaign as a minimum.
Relative success can count in assessing a manager’s career. But it has to be significant and consistent, neither of which applies to Moyes.

Nobody replied to my earlier request for a list of the present hierarchy at Everton. The ones who presumably attend matches and presumably talk to Moyes. Maybe nobody knows who they are.

This thread is insane.

We won our last match, we haven`t played for two weeks, sit comfortably in mid table, the Human Scotch Egg and his team of Scabs snotted our neighbours at the weekend and this seasons GOT Champions League elect team, the Mighty Leeds, got beaten at home too and there`s a mass piley on the manager, before a balls been even kicked tonight
Based on past experience many of us ,self included , have written off tonight's game .That won't change while Moyes is in post. And 2 keepers on the bench is the icing on the cake.

Before the summer window this season every team in the league had spent more than us in the last 5 seasons as we were the only ones who turned a transfer profit over 5 years. We couldn’t afford to finish 20th however.
Which is why chatting nonsense like we absolutely must finish in the top ten is absolute comedy.
