2025/26 David Moyes

I’m afraid he lost me last night.

- Killing the strikers confidence swapping them every 45 minutes or so.
- Ruining another young lads confidence, bringing on McNeil who hasn’t had a sniff ahead of Dibling, an actual RW.
- Playing woefully out of form players every week, ie Tarky, KDH.
- Making bizarre sub choices or subbing people too late yet again.
- Ignoring Rohl completely despite him looking bright everytime he’s had minutes.
- Persisting with the same formation and tactics despite it not working.
- Standing on the sidelines looking like a frustrated fan who’s powerless to change things when he’s literally the one fella who can.

Nobody can tell me this lot aren’t massively underachieving, our players simply aren’t this bad. It’s not far from Dyche last season, and he has better players to work with.

He lost me at the Wolves cup game.... that was a sackable offence. Since then we have been horrendous against West Ham, Spuds and now Sunderland.

He simply does not have a clue.

Theres a team in there. Not a brilliant one but i just dont think it includes beto or barry.
Sadly i also think Moyes is to limited to go with anything that doesnt start with a big lump up front.
We could cause a few teams problems on the floor with grealish ndiaye alcaraz kdh. But he'll never tinker away from his routine set up.
Very noticable last night as well that even when on top in the first 30 minutes i dont think the fullbacks overlapped grealish and ndiaye once.

Please consider carefully ever defending David Moyes. He is the never man. He’s earning a significant salary to be this abject. Blue Bill has passed, so there is hope that the Friedkins can act to change the manager as what is unfolding isn’t remotely acceptable. Bear in mind, finishing 10th would be wholly acceptable or even excellent all things considered this season, but this team can’t defend or attack. It’s just rancid.

Yeah, he's not going anywhere. I get being frustrated with him but some of you live in a dream world when it comes to sacking managers and would have us doing it literally every other week if you could. The owners won't be doing that unless they're genuinely worried about going down, and they clearly aren't. If things continue to be as painful as they have been at times this season then I can see a scenario where he goes in the summer but honestly, I think we'll improve a bit come Jan and this will be enough to let the owners give him the final year of his contract before we part ways without them having to pay him off.

I'm very against sacking him if we don't have an immediate upgrade ready to replace him.

If we do, though...

Anyway, I see Adi Hutter is available right now.

I stand by my belief that he earned this season after his work fixing the mess Dyche left us in last year. If the owners want to get rid in the summer then its a whatever situation for me. I'm really not fussed if he goes the day after the season ends or stays for 26-27. I am however, against another mid-season sacking, especially while there's nobody available who would be a truly significant managerial upgrade.

Id argur weve been horrendous in every game this season bar Wolves in the League.

20 minutes against Palace, 45 in the Derby.

Massively lucky against Brighton & Palace, and hung on against West Ham.

To have players like Grealish & Ndiaye at your disposal, you have to play to their strengths not playing football.

Last year it was Forest with the “good side” “on a good run” routine , this year it could be Sunderland, who will it be next year? Coventry?
Before that, Bournemouth and Brentford, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Before that, Leicester.

One thing in common, been out the division and returned. Meanwhile docile Everton keep using staying ahead of relegation as success. It's not just Moyes, it's the culture at the club. What will TFG do to change this?

They sacked a Roma legend mate, they won’t have any qualms removing Moyes. He needs some big results up to
Christmas now or he will be gone. Bullshit billy doesn’t run the club anymore

Ive said it for weeks, i would be very annoyed if TFG arent looking for a new manager to replace him st the end of the season.

He sucked the energy out of us with that Wolves/West Ham week. We know he tends to get his sides firing well in second halves of seasons but the damage is done then...

Its dross. He did very well last season, this season is verry underwhelming and i didnt have very expectations to begin with.

Its not a question of having qualms mate. There's nobody available who would be a truly significant upgrade. At best its a case of taking a gamble on an unknown entity who might prove to be an upgrade long-term. I can't see the owners taking that risk. This isn't about sentiment like under Kenwright. Its about not letting emotions rule our judgement and being practical about things. If they had a better option available then they'd probably have already pulled the trigger. They haven't, because they don't.
