I’ve always bought in to the basic principle that if you are playing well, you stay in the team.

If your form drops, you are benched. (Tarkowski, Mykolenko, Gana, KDH)

Every pro buys into that too.

How must those players on the bench feel, seeing so many stink the gaff out week after week & yet they stay in the team.

When it comes to questions like this, the jig is up for the manager.

He can blame Kinnear and co, but they are the owners' representatives and they will say Moyes signed off on the signings and doesn't get the best out of them. Moyes is in no real position to wage a turf war now. Bill is gone.

Let’s be honest yes he’s stubborn but look at the squad average players at best. Ndiaye, Grealish, Pickford, rest are average prem players apart from Myko, Beto, and so far put Barry into that they’re lower/ championship players. The bench is pitiful as well.

Had us set up and motivated to play today but threw it away from half time onwards. Taking Barry off was a mistake - was having a decent game (sitter aside) - and the McNeill sub was baffling beyond belief

I didn’t like Barry’s head shaking when he came off, but his reputation was only helped by Beto’s half arsed attempts to win headers or press. He must have only touched the ball about 3 times.

Tbf I don’t even think it’s bad recruitment, the manager is using his squad appallingly and destroying multiple young players’ confidence whilst doing so.
