Alex Ferguson would do it a lot. Once he publicly laid into his Aberdeen team after they won a cup final! It depends on the player though. Who knows what Moyes has already said to him behind closed doors.

Beto has been critical of his own play in articles I’ve read. I seem to remember one where he said he agreed with the manager on where he needed to improve only to follow it up with how much he enjoys playing for him. I wouldn’t read too much into what Moyes said. It was a valid observation and not a thrashing.

Very lucky today thy could have been 3-0 at half time. They was walking through the middle of us. A 433 with garner right back could potentially work and I’d like to see it given 45 mins at least. Kdh Alcaraz and Gana CM with one of them pushing up on attacking transitions
