2025/26 David Moyes

"I thought Beto should have scored."

Way to go to boost a striker's confidence.

All he had to say was that "Beto's header was fantastically saved and we thankfully had Jack there to convert".

Do you want us to lose against City and Spurs to aid their title quest against Liverpool like you did last season against City, Chelsea and Arsenal?

4 league wins by the start of October, how refreshing given it took till the gaffer’s second game back in January to hit 4 wins last season and 12 games the season before that and 21 games (Dyche’s 1st) to do it the year before that. In fact the last time we had 4 wins this early was under the FSW in 2021 when we won 4 of the first 6

Amazing how your luck turns when you take decisive action when things are going wrong.

Biggest takeaway for me today is Moyes acted when he had to - no dithering, no risk aversion - and made the changes. Sure enough, things changed. You win nothing with cosy cardigan procrastination. He earned that today.

You’ve used the word “luck” 7 times in the space of 2 hours, are you ok mi amigo?

We've won 3 and only 2 of them were before the start of October

Got it right 2nd half so credit for that but got the first half wrong again.

Let’s see if he has learnt anything or if he just reverts back again to the same starting team next week minus Grealish.
