2025/26 David Moyes

Moyes certainly wasn't my choice to return but worked miracles last season to get anything out of these players, and has been backed this season although still glaring omissions in certain positions
The first half against Liverpool had no ambition or self belief to compete with them better 2nd half and then onto wolves a total mismanagement of the tie and again no ambition or desire to go there minus maybe a couple of player's and progress .
There is no KenWright safety net this time around and I'm not sure just staying up this season will be enough for the owners a review of the situation at the end of the season is correct unless something drastically goes wrong

It will be interesting to see how the owners move around these topics. Under previous two owners you wouldn't even consider they would change managers this season. You'd wonder now if we might see the kind of set up that would see somebody like Emery out at Villa and make a move. The way that Moyes leaves whenever it is, will tell us something either way about them

I dont think for one minute they'll be impressed by his CV, even if Moyes himself clearly thinks he's the cats whiskers for winning a minor European trophy.
