2025/26 David Moyes

I was thinking exactly the same, is it possible to cancel it?
Smiling at this.
Quick tale, I'd made my mind up that after 64 years coming to the match yesterday was to be my last game. I'd actually become relaxed about it and accepted the fact. Then the bombshell that my elder lad had renewed it for me. Bought and paid for. I can imagine it's like being denied parole.

"Everton have not had the opportunity to get in the top end of the league table for a while. I'm more disappointed that they have missed that opportunity to keep pushing on. Today showed that we are probably not quite ready." David Moyes.

Gaslighting again!

No you are not fit for the job.

Trying to polish his teeny weeny bit of progress from Dyche! (1 point so far) Wow.

There is one reason why all of Sunderland Bournemouth Brighton Brentford are above us, they have able managers, not the squad but the managers they have.

This summer just feels like the right time to get him gone and get someone with a bit of vision in instead of the inevitable, giving him a new contract and getting several months into a new season sacking him when it’s not going to plan and bringing another short term Apointment in to firefight. Let’s be progressive for once

If we had the exact same number of points with the exact same results and the exact same position on the table, but had got there by bringing through some young players while phasing out the old, and beginning to implement some sustainable and improvable style of play, then I would happily sign up to the progress narrative.

We’ve done none of that at all. There has been no progress in any conceivable way from last season, or even the one before that with the points deductions. It has been a season wasted with no guarantees next season won’t see a slide.

I was tired by the end of Dyche because of his gaslighting behaviour and I've got the same tiredness now with Moyes. Unfortunately he has the mentality of a loser and that will never change, despite him projecting at times that he wants to raise the standards of the club to go for it, he's happy to revert into his shell when he fails at that and try to shift the blame elsewhere.

Constantly talks the club down, still following the kenwright playbook.

Not ready for Europe eh Davey, whose job was it to get us ready then? Maybe if you had used your squad properly and rotated more with the younger players, we would be ready?

Maybe if you had signed a new right back, or trusted the one we already have a little more, instead of shoehorning a cb there all season we would be ready?

It was in our hands and we tossed it away, the home performances all season and the performances and results, home and away the last month have been abysmal.

It’s all on the manager and the players he’s picked.

Take some accountability and own it Moyes ffs.

It’s the moyes play book, talk us down to make himself look better and make it look likes he’s doing a better job than he is

If we’re going to be a mid table club can we at least be a mid table club that plays exciting football. The majority of the time it’s an absolute chore to watch this side under Moyes, he sets us up at home against ‘lesser’ sides like we’re the away team up against elite teams. No wonder we have one of the worst home forms we ever had
