2025/26 David Moyes

It’s a tricky one isn’t it? It’s obvious they all aren’t on the same page regarding what type of players we should be signing.

I think Moyes will only give youth a chance if he full trusts them. I don’t think he cares about how good or talented they are but comes down to trust. It’s a weird one with him, always has been with youth.

It's very easy to understand: young players dont save you from dressing room revolts; older players do.

Ergo: he'll always accommodate older pros in order to make sure there's no trouble in the dressing room that could get him the sack.

Moyes manages for Moyes.

Always has done and always will do.

He did really well last season, but this season we've defaulted into much more like his first spell imo.

I can live with another season of mid table obscurity, joyless football, early cup exits and coughing up 6 pts to RS (no matter how bad they are).

But we can't give Moyes an extension or let him spend summer dough on aging players no one else wants.

13 years, 600+ games and 1 cup final appearance to show for it.

It's enough.

Do you think this is a better squad than between 2014-16? For example would you take Baines, Stones, Deulofeu, Coleman and Lukaku now? (Obviously at their ages at the time) I only ask as it’s just dawned on me we’ve already got more points now than we did in either of those two seasons. I can only assume that you think this is a better squad than we had then?

Unlike your two managerial bum boys, Dyche and Benitez, who mostly definitely don’t manage for themselves 😂

Give it a rest you massive boring fanny.

Kinnear said cup run, top ten.

If he doesn’t buck his ideas up for last three games he’s missing both extremely low targets.
It was crazy the whole cup run thing. Kinnear came out and bigged up a cup run, then Moyes did a bunch of press saying how important a cup run was, only to immediately bomb out of the cups and then nobody mentioned any of it again.

If we do end up finishing bottom half after one win in the cups against Mansfield at home, have we really progressed all that much this season? I keep being told that we have but I'm not really sure what metric that is being judged by.

If it's cup run and top ten then he failed that task back in January.

Even 10th looks 'challenging' for Wor Davie.

£110M spent and 12,000 extra fans to roar us on and he's kept us roughly at Dyche-level.

The beaut tried to frame this season as 'very good' in the press conference...and of course wasn't challenged on the bare faced BS.

I mean we have just had 12 years of mid table obscurity, joyless football, early cup exits and coughing up 6 points to the RS - all without Moyes.
