2025/26 David Moyes

Does Moyes and club mgt want europe?
It would mean a massive overhaul for squad and if not cant see one of two signings coping with 3 cups.
Or spend money on a RB and Striker and bonus player and go for it in league and cups. With the right signings Europe is an expectation for next season and much better placed to go into Europe the following season.

In the meantime Tim, Armstong, Rohl, Dibling, Alcaraz and Aznou, some of them need to be given proper minutes.

Can Tim or Rohl play 10 so we can see Garner and KDH become a partnership? (thats a european pairing)

After losing to West Ham, what have you got for us Davey boy?
Coasting to mediocrity with more of the same or a chance to develop for the coming seasons.

Considering how much opportunity there has been in the back third of this season to finish in a European place, the finish currently looks so weak.

He needs to question himself (he won't)

The board need to ask themselves a serious question if hes what they want.

Well documented that moyes got final say on transfers. Mostly they have been a big fail.

The curious case of Merlin Rohl is something that continues to confuse me. Never have I seen a relatively unknown player hyped up so much by a club and manager in their early weeks. Had moments of looking good, had moments looking awful. Had a pretty good performance last time out. Never seen again.

Saying that. How moyes has used many players this season confuses me. Dibling, George, mcneil, barry, beto.
I don't think Moyes has ever praised anything about Rohl past his Athleticism, It was this thread that built him up into so kind of superhuman..

I thought he was 100% our best option to replace Dyche, to get us settled and manage the move to the Hill Dickie, but I think he's taken us as far as he can. Looking back at the season so far, maybe only the Villa and ManU away results were anything special, even the Chelsea 3-0 doesn't appear to be that big an achievement having seen how dire they've been of late. I'd love to see him guide us to the next stage but it seems increasingly clear that he has neither the belief in his squad or in his own ability to make further progress. It's been a pretty mediocre league this year, and having got into the position we were in we should have been more ambitious in securing a European place but we seem to be stagnating again now.

Davey is down Morrisons’ Car Park right now waiting for you lads. One at a time or all at once, Davey doesn’t mind.

Come on you Internet cowards.
Come take his job off him.

You can't defend the undefendable, over 500 games, 1 cup final which he choked. Really how can anyone not want a young inspired go getting manager.
It all comes down to this Window for me, And I think it is where basically everyone agrees on.
What and who are you buying for ?

Look at what one bad window has done to Newcastle
A couple of Windows have done to Spurs

You really can't mess up a second Window.

Do people think we've got a better squad or been better than Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton this season?

Honestly?

Also, conceding two back to back late on, last min equaliser the week before. Theres clearly a tiredness or lack of sharpness. And thats down to squad rotation.
What is this squad rotation you speak of? Sounds woke to me!

And all those melts sayin' 'we aren't ready for Europe anyway'—actin' like we can just pick and choose when we want to be good. They’re probably proper proud of themselves for bein' 'right.' But with this manager and his prehistoric football, we’ll be right back in a relegation scrap next season, stone dead cert.
leeds and burnley last season stormed the championship, 100 points each. Sunderland through the play offs having only won 76 points.
Coventry have just won the championship, with a game remaining they could hit 95 points. ipswich (second) could hit 86 points.

The 3 sides that come up will be far weaker this season than last. We have yet to see how european qualification lands on the PL this season.

We'll loan Grealish again, we'll ship barry out, we may also sell beto as his contract is almost up. We'll go all out for a RB and strikers.

We were never getting out of the fiasco we had worked so hard to get into with one summer window.

Remember that time he appointed Charlie Adam -who Davey's brother just so happens to be his agent- as a set piece coach, a job he had 0 experience in, he left and wasn't replaced. And we've conceded about 10 identical set pieces this season. Marginal gains and all that
It's just another example of us as a club being left behind by the rest of the league.

I'm pretty sure we are only one of 3/4 teams who don't have one.

Yes we all have a little laugh at the ones who stand there on the side-line like a composer, but the good ones very clearly have a massive affect. Goals from set pieces are such a bonus and can win you so many points over the years.

But old school davey thinks we can just lump it in the mixer and the big guy will win it.
